How do we start the journey that leads to the ceremony on your special day?
01. The Consultation
The first step is for us to get together either in person, Skype or simply over the phone for a no-obligation 30–45-minute meet and greet. Some might call it speed dating but whatever its name, it’s our opportunity to get to know each other and to help you decide if I’m a good fit as your wedding officiant.
02. Securing Your Date
Once you’ve made your decision to put your trust in me, the next step is to secure your date. This is accomplished by completing a simple contract and providing a 50% deposit. At that time, I’ll ask you to both fill out a short questionnaire that I’ll use to begin creating your wedding ceremony.
03. The Creative Process
Creation of your ceremony isn’t done in a vacuum; it’s a collaboration and I do my best to help reduce some of the stress that inevitably is part of the process. But your involvement in the process is vital to ensuring that the ceremony reflects your wishes and captures your story. We’ll discuss what rituals, cultural elements, family recognitions, readings, remembrances, music and aspects of your love story that you might want to consider for inclusion in your ceremony. To that end, we’ll stay connected throughout the creative process with an unlimited exchange of ideas to help achieve the ultimate goal of creating a ceremony that’s “All about You”. Think of the process as a meme with the vision you have for your wedding ceremony coming to life thru the keyboard on my computer.
04. Editing
Once the first draft is complete, we’ll begin the editing process. This is your opportunity to review the ceremony to ensure that it will reflect your vision and to add any new elements and modify or delete any of the existing copy. After any edits are made, the last step is for you to approve the final draft of your ceremony.
05. Rehearsal
Now we are moving closer to the date of the ceremony. If you are having a rehearsal, I’ll be there to facilitate a run through which will hopefully reduce any butterflies that either of you may have and to make sure that everyone in the wedding party understands their role. If you have a wedding planner who will be onsite for the rehearsal, I’ll work closely with them.
06. Your Wedding Day
So now, your special day has arrived and so have I. In fact, I like to arrive at least 30–45 minutes before the ceremony to make sure that everything is ready for me to officiate and to spend some time meeting your guests. For me this is an important step, as I like to look out into the audience and see a smiling familiar face.
Once the wedding begins, it’s my job to guide you through the ceremony, to help you bring to life the meaning of the elements of the ceremony that are special to you and that you want to be special for those in attendance. Because that day, that time, that moment is “All about You”.

It’s About You
Love fever got us good, bustin’ at the seams
Look at us, we’re in a spin, chasin’ down our dreams
Barreling down the highway, radio blastin’ loud
Ready to do it our way, hurdle the highest cloud
Poetry on our lips, rainbows in our eyes,
Now we’re shootin’ for the stars to make the future our prize
And so, we’re ready to go, gonna knock it out
Lights, camera, show, our love is what it’s all about
Fingers on the pulse, future’s dead ahead
It’s about me, it’s about you, it’s about us
It’s about touching the sky, believing what’s true
It’s about time and it’s about you
